Ten By Ten Lashes Difference

The health of your natural lashes and skin, while enhancing your beauty and skin care needs, are our utmost priority! Our highly trained and naturally skilled Advanced Certified Lash Stylist is what you will find during your visit to TBT (Ten by Ten Lashes). More information on our difference:

We never adhere lashes to your skin. Lashes Adhered to the skin could lead to adverse consequences.
We only use surgically graded adhesive, which contains the same ingredients used by plastic surgeons.
Your eyes are never open during our non-invasive procedure. Leaving the eyes open often lead to damage.
We do not add groups of lashes (flares on small balls, clusters, etc.) as this can also result in permanent damage and lash baldness if done repeatedly. Click here to learn more.
We do not adhere temporary strips of lashes.
Most TBT clients drift to sleep during the 1 hour procedure.
We are confident that you will love the way you look with Xtreme Lashes™!

Easy Care & Lasting Results

When properly applied, an Xtreme Lashes™ eyelash extension will remain in place until the natural lash on which it rests falls out. This can be as long as two months or more.

• Natural eyelashes are programmed to grow in and fall out in cycles (every 60 to 90 days which equals 2 to 3 months). When a natural lash matures and falls out, a new natural lash has already been growing and quickly replaces it without us noticing the turnover. This process is constant and at any given moment our many natural lashes are at different stages of their life cycle. Some are just growing in while others are ready to shed. People typically shed between 1 and 5 natural lashes each day depending on our individual growth cycles. On shorter natural lashes this growing and shedding cycle is virtually unnoticeable.
• When eyelashes are extended with Xtreme Lashes™ it will be more noticeable when a lash sheds because they are longer and darker than natural lashes. Please keep in mind, this is a perfectly normal occurrence with or without extensions. Lash Stylists will apply Xtreme Lashes™ primarily to those lashes that are in the middle of their maturation cycle to maximum the amount of time they will last while not jeopardizing the health of baby lashes. The Xtreme Lash will fall out with the natural lash it is attached to when it reaches the end of its growth cycle. This time frame will vary for each individual lash depending on where it is in the growth cycle when the extension is applied. A few Xtreme Lashes™ may be lost in the first week because the attached natural lashes were at the end of their growth cycle however most will remain in place for approximately two months.
With proper care and maintenance, touch ups are needed typically only once every 2 to 4 weeks to replace the lashes that have shed. Your Xtreme Lashes™ Stylist will add extensions to the newest mature natural lashes to maintain a full, lush appearance.
• Xtreme Lashes™ are easy to maintain. The first twenty-four hours are crucial to the bonding of Xtreme Lashes™. Clients should keep they dry and avoid touching them initially. After twenty-four hours care is simple: avoid oil based products and be gentle with the lashes. They are resistant to water, sweat and tears. Clients can swim, shower and spa worry free.

Beauty Tips

1. Have semi-permanent lash extensions applied at least 4 weeks before your wedding by a certified professional. By having your extensions applied to your natural lashes a head of time, this allows for the bride to get used to wearing her extensions as well as correct any issues that may arise before the big day.
2. Schedule a facial two weeks prior to the wedding and not the day before the wedding. Estheticians may over manipulate the skin causing the skin to become irritated and/or toxins moving up to the outermost layer of the skin. This can cause the skin to look red on the day of the wedding.
3. Schedule more than 1 makeup trial. It’s always best to have several trials with different makeup artist to compare the look you want to achieve for your big day.
4. If wearing sew in extensions, be sure to have them applied at least a week before the wedding. Your natural hair will be braided, then the extension sewn on top of the braid. Hair stylist may braid hair too tight causing the extensions to feel tight. If you schedule your sew in extensions a week prior, this give the braids a chance to loosen up just a bit to not cause discomfort.
5. Do not drink coffee, sodas or eat bright colored foods when having teeth whitened for the wedding several days before and after the session.
6. It is best exfoliate your skin prior to having waxing services done.
7. Hire a bride’s assistant. On my wedding day, I had a beauty assistant who catered to my every beauty need. She carried a mini beauty bag which contained anything that I may have needed to freshen up with throughout the day. She also made sure my hair, gown and makeup were all in its place while we took pictures. Good thing, because it was a windy day and my hair blew all over the place. Between the photographers’ shots, she would come over and re-adjust my look. Hire a beauty assistant who is multi-talented – hair, makeup, wardrobe etc.
8. Pack one extra pair of hose, just in case you tear a hole in the first ones.
9. It’s often a good idea to have two pairs of shoes in case your feet get tired you can change your shoes.
10. When there are cameras around stay smiling! Brides usually don’t pay too much attention to photographers in the room. However, if you stay smiling while getting ready, you’re sure to enjoy the images!
